Texas BPA Mourns Loss

Hunter Schwertner, former Area 4, Region 1 President and former Texas BPA State Secretary, passed away in a car accident on August 19, 2014. Hunter was an active member of the Floydada BPA chapter where he, along with his team members, was 2014 State and National Champions in Video Production Team. He recently graduated from Floydada High School as Salutatorian of his class and was set to attend the University of Texas at Austin in the McCombs School of Business. He was returning home from Austin to prepare for the Fall semester when the accident occurred. Hunter was an active member and loved Texas BPA. If you have any student officers who may have served with him over the past years, please forward this information to them.
